Document Review

Quality Forensics will conduct a complete and thorough review of the case chain of custody, case file, laboratory notes, and any statistical calculations in the case file. This review will ensure that the laboratory followed industry guidelines while conducting DNA testing and the reported conclusions are based on the results obtained during the testing.

The case file review will identify any errors or contamination events during testing that may have affected the outcome of the results. A review of the chain of custody will s that the evidence was collected and stored properly and was always secure.

Once a thorough case review has been performed, Quality Forensics will discuss the findings and results of the DNA testing with the client. A final report containing the findings and explanation of the results may be provided, along with expert testimony as needed.
